Following residency, he practiced throughout the United States as a locum tenens physician before returning to his hometown of Buffalo, New York.</p><p>In Buffalo, Dr. Goldstein has served as a hospitalist at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo, a physician advisor for Catholic Health, and a clinical teaching attending at Sisters Hospital. He is deeply committed to medical education and mentorship, finding great fulfillment in supporting the growth of residents and medical students as they develop clinical knowledge, judgment, and confidence throughout their training.</p><p>In 2025, Dr. Goldstein received the David J. Martinke, D.O. His clinical practice is divided between shifts in the Emergency Department and operational medicine. He provides medical direction to Erie Community College‘s EMS training programs and the Niagara County Sheriff‘s Office Emergency Response Team. He responds with the Town of Tonawanda Police Department's Emergency Medical Unit and is the Associate System Medical Director and Flight Physician for Mercy Flight of Western New York. He is a sworn police officer and serves as a law enforcement officer in a Genesee County municipality.</p><p>Dr. O‘Brien‘s interests center around prehospital resuscitation, tactical medicine/aggressive deadly behavior attacks, and extracorporeal life support (ECLS). He is a subject matter expert in Emergency Medical Services, aeromedical evacuation/retrieval, and tactical medicine/active threat incidents. He is a frequent speaker on topics such as out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, operational/austere medicine, and the ethics of emergency care. He is double board-certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine in Emergency Medicine and Emergency Medical Services. He has a BS in Chemistry and was graduated with honors in 1984 from Canisius College. He is a graduate of SUNY at Buffalo School of Medicine 1988. He was a surgical intern and research fellow at UB for two years and then completed his surgical residency at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia from 1990-1995. He has received multiple teaching awards and published multiple papers. He also presented his work at the state, national, and international level during those years.</p><p>Dr. Steinig entered private practice in General and Vascular surgery primarily at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo where he performed an estimated 25,000 operations. He was president of the Medical Staff and president of the WNY Chapter of the American College of Surgeons. He was a member of innumerable hospital committees and has chaired multiple committees. He served as National Governor of the American College of Surgeons. He was honored to be the physician of distinction at Mercy and received the John Davanzo Stroke Award. He has collaborated closely with administration, board members, physicians, APPs, and staff. He has taught surgical residents, medical students, PA students, and NP students while also mentoring many college and high school students.</p><p>His passion for patient advocacy led to him establishing an inpatient Advanced Illness and Palliative Care service at Mercy Hospital and Sisters Hospital in June of 2018 while finishing his operative surgical career at the end of 2018. He was part of the leadership at the COVID unit at St Joseph’s Hospital during the peak of the pandemic. He served on multiple community boards and organizations. Dr. Steinig retired from his clinical practice on his wedding anniversary September 30, 2025. He is happily married to his wife Maria and is the proud father of four children who all live and work in the community. He is also the proud grandfather of an eight-month-old girl.</p><p>Dr. Steinig is fully committed to patient advocacy as well as improving medical care in our community. He looks forward to mentoring the next generation of physicians and caregivers at D’Youville University. He graduated in 1996 and moved to complete scholarship obligations with the US Army at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX where he completed his Internal Medicine residency. &nbsp;</p><p>After residency, he moved to Colorado Springs, CO where he practiced traditional Internal Medicine. In 2013, Dr. Tyler moved to his hometown of Joplin, MO to be closer to his aging parents. While there, he practiced mainly hospital medicine with additional work in primary care, palliative medicine, and hospice. &nbsp;</p><p>Dr. Tyler has obtained his Master of Science degree in Medical Education Leadership with a passionate interest in curriculum development and implementation. <span>His present role with D’Youville University is as Chair of Primary Care and Associate Professor with the Clinical Medicine department</span>. &nbsp;</p><p>Personal hobbies are photography, being outdoors, and hanging out with his two little dogs, Sammy and Sophie. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Buffalo before earning his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Nova Southeastern University in Florida.</p><p>Returning to his roots, Dr. Camposeo completed his emergency medicine residency at the University of Buffalo, where he later served as an Assistant Clinical Professor and Assistant Program Director for the emergency medicine residency program.</p><p>Passionate about advancing medical education, Dr. Camposeo has a special interest in medical simulation and takes pride in supporting learners facing challenges. Following a residency in Family Medicine, where he served as Chief Resident, Dr. Ruh joined his father’s private practice in 1993, dedicating over three decades to patient care and community service.</p> <p>In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Ruh has played a pivotal role in shaping the future of medicine. Since completing his residency, Dr. Khatib has spent time practicing in both inpatient and outpatient medicine as a primary care provider, hospitalist, and regenerative medicine physician. In his free time Dr. Khatib enjoys spending time with his family, playing with his dogs, and golfing. After graduating in Medicine from the Upstate Medical University, SUNY, he completed 2 years of medical residency at Wayne State University. He skipped the third year of residency to become one of the youngest Parker B. Francis Pulmonary Research Fellows at Stony Brook University Renaissance School of Medicine and the first Chief Medical Resident at the Stony Brook University Hospital. Subsequently, Dr. Low served in various leadership and academic positions in both private and public sectors, including the position of Chief Medical Officer and Chief Ethics Officer of the VA Great Lakes Health Care System, overseeing 7 VA medical centers in the states of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Illinois. Dr. Low was also active in community service, serving on the Board of the Dalits Solidarity and as President and Chief Investment Officer of the US-China Foundation for Medical Science and Technology. Dr. Low has been continually improving himself professionally and academically, earning 5 board certifications in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases, Critical Care Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Hospice, and Palliative Medicine. To further hone his skills in healthcare finance, operation, and management, Dr. Low earned an MBA degree in Finance and a Certificate of International Business from Seton Hall University, an MMAS degree in Operation Art &amp; Science from the School of Advanced Military Studies at the US Army Command and General Staff College, and an MHCM degree in Health Care Management from Harvard University. He also studied for 4 years in the Ph.D. program in Finance at Rutgers University. Later, he retired as Professor of Medicine from the University of Mississippi and President of the Deo Gracias Consulting Group.
