Britt Davis
Vice President for Institutional Advancement
Dr. Britt Davis is charged with maintaining a strategic vision for the focus and efforts within 糖心视频鈥檚 Advancement Department, which includes designing, planning, and leading philanthropic programming to enhance the university鈥檚 vision of being a leader in transformative education.
As a member of the President鈥檚 Council, Davis develops partnerships across campus and among alumni, as well as with parents and friends of the university to identify, engage, and cultivate current and future donor partners. He also manages dynamic and relevant alumni programming. Davis works closely with President Clemo, members of the President鈥檚 Council, academic deans, and members of the 糖心视频 Board of Trustees to make informed decisions in fulfillment of the university鈥檚 mission.
Davis joined the 糖心视频 team in November 2024 after 17 years with Campbell University in North Carolina, where he led university fundraising, alumni engagement, communications, and government relations. During his tenure as Campbell鈥檚 Vice President for Advancement, his team completed two major capital campaigns that supported the creation of three new schools: medicine (2013), engineering (2016), and nursing (2016). From 2011 to 2024, Davis鈥檚 advancement leadership helped secure more than $280 million in gift commitments for capital projects, endowed scholarships, special programming, and other needs.
Davis holds a BS in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from George Mason University, as well as a Doctor of Public Administration (DPA) from Valdosta State University.
Joggeshwar (Jogy) Das
Executive Vice President & Senior Advisor to the President
In this role Dr. Das is responsible for providing high quality, efficient, and effective service and support to the campus community. In addition, he ensures that the University鈥檚 essential resources: its people, facilities, financial assets, systems and information and data are effectively and productively managed.
Dr. Das provides leadership for Offices of Assessment, Accreditation, and Institutional Research helping with planning and resources; Talent, Culture & Human Resources; Academic & Career Advisement; Student Persistence & Accessibility Services; Strategic Enrollment Management and Admissions; International Student Services & Global Engagement; and Title III Grant.
Prior to joining D鈥橸ouville, Dr. Das served as Associate Dean in the School of Education for the State University of New York at Oswego, 25 years at Ohio State University, serving in multiple positions including, Assistant Director of Undergraduate Programs at the Fisher College of Business School, Director of Undergraduate and Graduate services, and Manager for Quality Data Reporting for the College of Education.
Dr. Das earned B.S. (Honors) in Anthropology and M.S. in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Delhi. Additionally, he earned a MA and holds an ABD from The Ohio State University in Anthropology. He earned his doctorate (Ed.D.) from D鈥橸ouville University.
Denise DiRienzo
Chief Mission Officer
As the Chief Mission Officer DiRienzo is responsible for integrating mission and service into all aspects of the campus community. The Chief Mission Officer is a member of the President鈥檚 Counsel and functions as a strategic partner and influencer of the campus functioning in a manner consistent with our heritage and values.
DiRienzo joins D鈥橸ouville after a decade in higher education. She most recently served as the Director of Outreach and Engagement at Cornell University Graduate School and was a faculty member at Ithaca College; State University of New York at Oswego and Morrisville; and LeMoyne College. Prior to her work in higher education, DiRienzo served as the Executive Director at Syracuse Area Landmark Theatre, leading the historic venue through two phases of fundraising and renovation totaling $28 million. She also worked with the Oneida Nation to break down social barriers, engage the community and develop academic curriculum with New York State Universities.
DiRienzo holds a BA in Journalism from St. John Fisher College (Rochester), MS in Public Relations from Syracuse University, and an EdD in Education from St. John Fisher College (Rochester.)
Benjamin Grant (BG)
Vice President for Student Affairs
Dr. Benjamin Grant, widely known as 鈥淏G,鈥 is an innovative higher education leader recognized for advancing student success through bold strategy, cultural transformation, and a deep commitment to access and opportunity. With a career spanning multiple decades, Grant has built a reputation for challenging traditional models of student development while designing systems responsive to today鈥檚 learners.
At the core of his work is the belief that higher education must be both rigorous and relevant, preparing students to thrive in real-world environments. He has led intentional culture shifts at four institutions, aligning student affairs, academic priorities, and institutional strategy to create cohesive, student-centered ecosystems.
Since joining D鈥橸ouville University in 2018, Grant has expanded his influence as a strategic leader and institutional collaborator. Known for operating across traditional silos, he contributes to university-wide initiatives and partners with executive leadership on enrollment strategy, student experience, and institutional positioning. His work emphasizes integrated student support and scalable models that improve retention, satisfaction, and long-term success.
Grant holds a Bachelor of Professional Studies from Paul Smith鈥檚 College, a Master of Science from SUNY Buffalo State University, and a Doctor of Education from D鈥橸ouville University. His doctoral research examined how institutions can leverage elements of neoliberalism to sustain liberal education in a changing landscape.
In 2022, he was selected as an American Council on Education Fellow, one of the nation鈥檚 premier leadership development programs for higher education executives, where he focused on institutional advancement, shared governance, and executive leadership.
Grant is widely regarded as a forward-thinking voice in higher education, committed to environments where students are supported, challenged, and positioned to succeed.
Ona Halladay
Vice President for Athletics and Planning
Ona Halladay took over the role of Director of Intercollegiate Athletics in the fall of 2019, after previously serving as Associate Director of Athletics and Assistant Director of Athletics in her tenure at 糖心视频. During her short time at the head of the department, Halladay has been instrumental in the 2020 rebranding of 糖心视频 Athletics from the Spartans to the Saints, as well as the athletic department's move from NCAA Division III to Division II and admittance into the East Coast Conference.
Halladay joined the D鈥橸ouville staff in August 2013, spending seven seasons as D鈥橸ouville's head softball coach in addition to roles such as senior woman administrator and compliance director.
Throughout her time at 糖心视频, Halladay has assisted with the budget and finances for the department, has handled NCAA rules enforcement, and has worked with all coaches and department members in various ways.
Entering into the coaching ranks in 2010, Halladay joined the staff at St. Bonaventure where she was an assistant coach under long-time SBU head coach Mike Threehouse. Under Halladay鈥檚 direction, players were named to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team and the Atlantic 10 All-Conference Team, and the team's home run total was ranked 17th in the country during the 2011 season.
Halladay began her collegiate career playing at St. John鈥檚 University for two seasons where she was a two-year letter winner. She was a two-time All-SUNYAC softball selection as a member of the Golden Eagles. She holds a BS in psychology from the State University of New York College at Brockport and an MS in sports administration from Canisius College.
Jason MacLeod
Chief of Staff & AVP for Operations
As Chief of Staff and AVP for Operations, Jason MacLeod oversees all President鈥檚 Office staff and manages presidential communications and relations with the Board of Trustees. He also oversees the areas of marketing, facilities services, capital projects design, and construction, food services, and campus safety. Since March 2020, Dr. MacLeod served as the COVID-19 Compliance Officer for D鈥橸ouville, managing COVID-19 compliance, regulations, and communications.
MacLeod lived and worked in Wuhan, China for three years prior to coming to D鈥橸ouville, while completing his PhD at Central China Normal University. He holds a PhD in educational technology, as well as an MBA in business administration and a BS in Technology Management and Facilities Planning from the State University of New York at Oswego.
In addition to his primary duties at D鈥橸ouville, MacLeod is the co-director of a 3-year Department of Education grant aimed at teaching secondary teachers geospatial information systems technology, and he is an adjunct professor in the Doctor of Educational Leadership Program at D鈥橸ouville.
Jeff Matthews
Chief Marketing Officer
Jeff Matthews leads D鈥橸ouville University鈥檚 comprehensive marketing, communication, and branding strategies 鈥 shaping the university鈥檚 public image and advancing its academic reputation. As Chief Marketing Officer, Matthews oversees all aspects of brand awareness, advertising, digital engagement, and market research to elevate D鈥橸ouville鈥檚 visibility and impact.
A member of the President鈥檚 Council, Matthews works in close collaboration with university leadership, alumni relations, undergraduate admissions, academic deans, and athletics. His role focuses on building partnerships, strengthening community engagement, and driving innovative marketing initiatives that align with D鈥橸ouville鈥檚 mission and strategic goals.
Matthews joined D鈥橸ouville in April 2025 after nearly two decades with the Buffalo Bills, most recently serving as Vice President of Media and Content. In that role, he led the team鈥檚 transformation into a global brand, overseeing social media, digital platforms, video production, and live entertainment. Under his leadership, the Bills content team consistently ranked among the NFL鈥檚 top five in social media engagement and grew the team鈥檚 digital revenue by 480%. Matthews is also a seven-time New York State Emmy Award winner for excellence in video production.
David Mee
Chief Enrollment Strategist
Dr. David Mee serves D鈥橸ouville University as Chief Enrollment Strategist. David is a seasoned University Vice President with nearly 40 years of leadership experience in higher education. Recognized for his ability to drive enrollment and revenue, he specializes in building student recruitment plans, staff development, university administration, campus collaboration, and strategic marketing and branding鈥ll with a focus on enrollment growth and student success.
Throughout his career, David has served as a trusted consultant and advisor to over 70 colleges and universities across the country.
David earned his Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Leadership and Professional Practice.
A native of Rochester, New York, David and his wife, Laura, are the parents of two adult daughters.
